1 · About these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mojik website (aimojik.com), the Mojik parent app, the Mojik toy, and the waitlist program. By using any of them, you accept these Terms.
2 · Eligibility
The waitlist and Mojik account are intended for adults (18+). The Mojik toy is designed for children aged 3–12 and is meant to be set up and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.
3 · The waitlist
Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation to purchase. We send waitlist members updates about launch, early-access offers and product news. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email; doing so removes you from future waitlist communications.
4 · Pre-orders
If you place a pre-order, you'll receive a confirmation with the projected ship window and the fully-refundable cancellation terms applicable in your jurisdiction. We don't charge for the toy itself until it's ready to ship.
5 · How Mojik may be used
Mojik is intended as a companion toy: voice play, stories, age-appropriate conversation, and curiosity-led learning support. Mojik is not a medical device, not a therapist, not a tutor, and not a replacement for adult care. Don't rely on it for safety-critical decisions.
6 · Parental controls and supervision
Topics, quiet hours, language and tone are configured by you in the parent app. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials private and for the choices you make in those controls. Mojik will never ask a child to keep something secret from you.
7 · Acceptable use
Don't reverse-engineer the toy or the app, don't use Mojik to harass anyone, don't attempt to extract conversation data from another family's device, and don't try to bypass our safety filters. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
8 · Intellectual property
Mojik (the name, mascot, software, content, designs) is owned by Mojik or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the app and the toy for your family — not for commercial use, resale, or redistribution.
9 · Disclaimers and limits of liability
Mojik is provided "as is" before the product launches; we don't guarantee specific outcomes about a child's learning, behaviour or development. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater. None of this Terms limits rights you have that can't be waived under your local consumer-protection law.
10 · Termination
You can close your account at any time in the app. We may terminate or suspend access if you breach these Terms, for legal compliance, or to protect Mojik or other users. Some clauses (intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability) survive termination.
11 · Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes get notice by email and a banner on this page for at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
12 · Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Mojik is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your home jurisdiction continue to apply.
